Privacy policy

Tap Tap Zoo is a game for children, so we keep it simple: we don't collect personal information from anyone who plays.

What we don't do

• No accounts or sign-in. We never ask for a name, email, photo, age or location.
• No ads and no advertising or tracking partners.
• No cookies.
• No chat, and no way to contact other players.
• No purchases.
• No camera, microphone or location access.

What stays on your device

To remember progress between visits, the game saves a few small settings in your browser's storage on this device:

• stars earned, crowns won and which animals are unlocked;
• the last animal picked and the race size;
• whether sound is off, and whether a tip has been closed;
• how many times the cheer button was tapped (so the tutorial hand knows when to stop showing).

This information is never sent to us or anyone else. To erase it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

To make the game load quickly and work offline, the browser also keeps a copy of the game's own files (pictures, sounds and code). Clearing site data removes them too.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see how fast pages load. Cloudflare describes it as privacy-first analytics that does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not track individual people across websites. It uses no cookies. We only see totals, such as the number of visits, the type of device and the country they came from.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare handles visitors' IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't receive or keep a list of visitors.

Children's privacy

The game is designed for children. Because it doesn't collect personal information from children (or anyone), there is nothing for us to share, sell or delete. This follows the spirit of children's privacy laws such as COPPA in the United States and the GDPR in Europe.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
